Gamma Pi Wiki - Summer Picnic

Summer Picnic is a Gamma Pi tradition that takes place at Judge Don Daniel's house in West Lafayette every year. It's held sometime during the summer, and the turn out depends on how many brothers are on campus at the time. It usually starts in the afternoon and ends late.

This is like a cook out event so pretty much all you need is the food you want to have- burgers and hotdogs are standard, along with chips, soda, and water. Pretty much anything you want to cook as long as it's within the budget. Judge Daniel has a gas grill and grilling utensils but we have to bring plastic silverware, cups and plates and napkins and trashbags, as well as chairs, he only has a few. He will provide trash cans, a tent, and his wife Sandy will make baken beans and maybe something else too. There can be a bon fire if you chose to have one, but you will have to gather you own wook from Judge Daniel's garden, he will help you though. If you chose to have a bon fire, get chocolate, crackers and marshmellos to make smores. Other important things to bring are coolers and ice, and bug spray.

All Gamma Pi brothers are invited so make sure the invitation email goes out to the alumni and advisor and sponsor tags too.
