Description of Committee
From the Gamma Pi Bylaws:
6.01.01 The standing committees of the Chapter shall be the Executive, Membership, Services, Finances and Activities.
6.02.01 The Executive Committee shall consist of the seven elected officers. It shall interpret the Constitution and the bylaws, consider the imposition and reduction of fines, aid the organization of weekly meetings, and act as the administrative body of the chapter between regular Chapter meetings. Every semester the Executive Committee will review the Policy Guide and revise it if necessary.
The executive committee consists of all currently elected officers:
Each committee is assigned an advisor from the executive committee. Though there is no rule as to which exec member advises which committee, generally:
- Membership is advised by the 2nd Vice President
- Finances is advised by the Treasurer
- Special Projects is advised by the Historian
